Another article, another plan

I try to push the tackiness of writing our own press out of my head. It's very hard to get press when you haven't already had some and there are so many people out here begging for any sort of coverage. Good luck getting into the door until you've blown it off.

I've joined this online magazine where I have written an article on Fernando (which sort of means another article on Grover) but then I hope to write a few articles on there that are completely unrelated to Grover. I have some friends with cool groups that would probably make very interesting stories... I hope. Fernando's story is actually a pretty heartwarming one after I wrote it up. Who knew. ;)

Hopefully this and my article in Indie Slate (a print magazine) will give someone else a starting place to write us up. My best friend, Mia, is also going to give us some coverage.

Like I said, after this Fern article I'm going to write up a few more on some other topics to try and get my portfolio back on track. Producing can take a toll on the writing career... but at least it's fun.
