My mother has moved

My lovely mother has moved from her home on College street in Duluth. She stayed around two years longer than she had originally planned to.

The current fashion with the present economy is to be thrifty. My mother was not in style in her four bedroom home with no children left to fill it. She's now down one bedroom but up in social hipness.

Good move.

I know she's a little sad about leaving College street. It was a great house but based on the reasons I gave above I know it to be the best decision.

My love to my former home. I didn't have the greatest years of my life in Minnesota... but I wish it the best.

I am also saddened to hear that the house on College street is no longer owned by a Wasmund. I have many (fuzzy) memories of that house, and had hit my head on many a low ceiling. Also it was a perfect 3 minute walk (7 minute stumble) away from my prior dwellings.
